How often should I clean mini-split filters?+
Check the manufacturer’s instructions and inspect filters regularly. Homes with pets, dust, smoke, or heavy system use may need more frequent homeowner cleaning.
Why does my mini-split smell musty?+
Moisture, dust, drainage, and buildup on internal components can contribute to odor. Persistent odor should be evaluated rather than covered with fragrance.
Do all indoor heads need maintenance?+
Each head moves room air and has its own filters, coil, blower, and drainage path. The service scope should account for every installed and operating zone.
